Summary
Kokura Domain was a feudal domain during Japan's Edo period, situated in present-day Fukuoka Prefecture. Ruled primarily by the Ogasawara clan, it originated from land granted after Toyotomi Hideyoshi's conquests. The domain was also the site of a famous duel between Miyamoto Musashi and Sasaki KojirÅ.
