Mountainous Republic of the Northern Caucasus

The Mountainous Republic of the Northern Caucasus was a short-lived state that emerged during the Russian Civil War between 1918 and 1919. It united various ethnic groups across the North Caucasus, with its capital moving between Vladikavkaz, Nazran, and Temir-Khan-Shura. It was eventually dissolved.
