Muisca Confederations (political units)

The Muisca Confederation was a loose union of various Muisca polities in the central highlands of present-day Colombia. It was governed by two main rulers, the Zipa of Bacatá and the Zaque of Hunza, who held religious and political authority. The civilization was renowned for its gold craftsmanship and complex social structure before the Spanish conquest.
