Summary
Ōno Domain was a feudal domain in Edo period Japan, centered around Ōno Castle in Echizen Province. It was initially controlled by the Asakura clan and later assigned to various generals under Oda Nobunaga and Toyotomi Hideyoshi. The domain was eventually granted to the Matsudaira clan and later the Doi clan, who ruled until the Meiji Restoration.
