Summary
Owari Domain was a feudal domain in Edo period Japan, ruled by the Tokugawa clan. It was one of the largest domains with a rating of 619,500 koku, outside the shogunate's direct control. Ichinomiya flourished as a temple town within Owari's holdings during the Heian and Edo periods.
