Palanpur State

Palanpur State was a princely state within British India, ruled by the Lohani dynasty since 1370. It became a British protectorate in 1817, benefiting from protection against Maratha incursions. The state's capital was the city of Palanpur, strategically located along the Rajputana-Malwa Railway.
