Summary
The State of Pasundan was a federal state established by the Netherlands in 1948 in the western part of Java. It was created following the Linggadjati Agreement and encompassed regions similar to modern West Java, Banten, and Jakarta. The state was eventually incorporated into the Republic of Indonesia in 1950.
