Southern Powys (medieval)

Southern Powys, also known as Powys Wenwynwyn, was a Welsh lordship that emerged during the high Middle Ages. It was created following the disintegration of the Kingdom of Powys. The lordship existed as a distinct political entity between 1160 and 1283.
