Summary
The Principality of Hungary emerged in the Carpathian Basin in 895/896 after the Magyar invasion. Led by Árpád, the Hungarians established a tribal alliance and engaged in raids across Europe. It transitioned into the Kingdom of Hungary with the coronation of St. Stephen I in 1000.
