Summary
The Principality of Reuss-Gera, officially Reuss Junior Line, was a sovereign state within the German Empire. Ruled by the House of Reuss, it emerged from the Imperial County of Reuss and had its residence in Gera. Following World War I, it merged with the Elder Line to form the People's State of Reuss, later becoming part of Thuringia.
