Provisional Government of the Republic of Poland

Established in 1944 by the State National Council, it replaced the Polish Committee of National Liberation. The RTRP aimed to consolidate power under the Polish Workers' Party and Soviet influence. It initially faced protest from the Polish government-in-exile in London.
