Rada of the Belarusian Democratic Republic

The Rada of the Belarusian People's Republic was established in March 1918 as the main representative body of the newly proclaimed BPR, centered in Minsk. It originated from the Rada of the All-Belarusian Congress, expanding its role to become a temporary legislative body. The Rada adopted the Third Constituent Charter, declaring independence and seeking international recognition during the German occupation.
