Summary
The Republic of Central Lithuania was a short-lived puppet state of Poland, existing from 1920 to 1922. It emerged after the Żeligowski Mutiny, where Polish forces seized the Vilnius Region claimed by Lithuania. The republic was ultimately incorporated into Poland in 1922.
