Summary
The Republic of Entre Ríos existed briefly in the early 19th century, encompassing parts of modern Argentina. Founded in 1820 by caudillo Francisco Ramírez, it opposed centralist policies from Buenos Aires. The republic dissolved in 1821 after Lucio Mansilla became Governor of Entre Ríos.
