Suriname (Kingdom of the Netherlands)

Suriname functioned as an autonomous constituent country within the Kingdom of the Netherlands from 1954 until 1975. It maintained internal self-governance while delegating defense and foreign policy to the Dutch government. The territory transitioned to full independence as the Republic of Suriname.
