Swedish overseas colonies

Swedish overseas colonies included territories in North America and Africa established during the 17th century. New Sweden was a short-lived settlement along the Delaware River, while Cabo Corso was a trading post in present-day Ghana. These ventures were primarily driven by the Swedish Africa Company.
