Summary
The Dominion of Trinidad and Tobago existed as a constitutional monarchy within the British Commonwealth from 1962 until 1976. It consisted of the twin islands of Trinidad and Tobago and several smaller islets in the southern Caribbean. In 1976 the dominion became the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago, ending the role of the British monarch.
