Ukrainian People's Republic of Soviets

This short-lived Soviet republic was established in Kharkiv in December 1917 by the Bolshevik faction. It functioned as a puppet state of the Russian SFSR during the early stages of the Ukrainian War of Independence. The entity was eventually liquidated following the signing of the Treaty of Brest-Litovsk.
