Summary
The Ukrainian State was a regime led by Hetman Pavlo Skoropadsky that governed Ukraine from April to December 1918. It replaced the Central Rada and maintained close ties with the Central Powers to ensure stability. The state was eventually overthrown by the Anti-Hetman Uprising and replaced by the UPR.
