Union of South Africa

The Union of South Africa was a British Dominion and Commonwealth realm that existed from 1910 until 1961. It was formed by the unification of the Cape, Natal, Transvaal, and Orange River colonies under a constitutional monarchy. The state served as the historical predecessor to the modern Republic of South Africa.
