Summary
This state existed between 1810 and 1816 during a period in Colombian history famously known as la Patria Boba. It functioned as a federation with a parliamentary system formed from the territories of the New Kingdom of Granada. The government was eventually dismantled following the reconquest of the region by Spanish royalist forces.
