United States of Venezuela

The United States of Venezuela was the official name of the country adopted under the 1864 constitution during the government of Juan Crisóstomo Falcón. This designation remained in effect until 1953, when it was renamed the Republic of Venezuela. The state was established following the Federal War to implement federal principles across the nation.
