Summary
Yettishar, also known as Kashgaria, was a Turkic state in Xinjiang existing from 1864-1877 during the Dungan Revolt. It was an Islamic monarchy ruled by Yakub Beg, who established control over the Tarim Basin. The state was briefly recognized as a vassal of the Ottoman Empire in 1873.
