Zimbabwe Rhodesia

Zimbabwe Rhodesia was a short-lived, unrecognised state existing from 1979-1980, emerging from the Republic of Rhodesia after an Internal Settlement. It was a transitional government under British supervision following Rhodesia's 1965 Unilateral Declaration of Independence. The state ultimately gained internationally recognised independence as Zimbabwe in 1980.
