Summary
The Dinagat Islands form a province in the Caraga region of the Philippines, located on the southern side of Leyte Gulf. The archipelago lies between Leyte to the west and Mindanao to the south, with the main island stretching about 60 kilometres north‑south. Its capital is San Jose, while Basilisa is the most populous town.
