Dingolfing-Landau is a district in the state of Bavaria, southern Germany. It was formed in 1972 by merging the former districts of Dingolfing and Landau, and received its current name in 1973. The district lies in a plain landscape traversed by the Isar and Vils rivers, and hosts a major BMW manufacturing plant.
