Doña Ana County, New Mexico

Doña Ana County lies in the southern part of New Mexico, bordering Texas to the east and the Mexican state of Chihuahua to the south. It is named after Doña Ana Robledo, who died in the area during the Pueblo Revolt of 1680. The county includes the Las Cruces metropolitan area and features a mix of desert landscapes and agricultural valleys.
