Summary
Krestetsky District is an administrative raion in the centre of Novgorod Oblast, Russia, bordering six other districts. The district covers 2,790.63 km², of which 81 % is forested, and its administrative centre is the work settlement Kresttsy. First mentioned in 1393, the area passed from the Novgorod Republic to the Grand Duchy of Moscow in the late 15th century.
