Summary
Kryvyi Rih Raion is a district of Dnipropetrovsk Oblast in central‑southern Ukraine, with its administrative centre in the city of Kryvyi Rih. In July 2020 the raion was enlarged, absorbing the former Apostolove, Shyroke and Sofiivka districts and the Kryvyi Rih municipality. It now comprises 15 hromadas and serves a population of over 740 000.
