Summary
Naguanagua is a municipality located in the Venezuelan state of Carabobo within the Valencia Metropolitan Area. The area was originally inhabited by the Arawak people before being granted as an encomienda to Pedro Álvarez in 1553. It is situated in the valley of the Cabriales River.
