Świdwin County is located in the West Pomeranian Voivodeship of north-western Poland, established on January 1, 1999, through local government reforms. Its administrative center is the town of Świdwin, situated 89 kilometers northeast of Szczecin. Połczyn-Zdrój is the only other town within the county's boundaries.
