Tatra County

Tatra County is an administrative unit in the Lesser Poland Voivodeship of southern Poland, bordering Slovakia. Its administrative seat is the town of Zakopane, which serves as a gateway to the Tatra Mountains. The region contains the Tatra National Park, a protected area recognized as a UNESCO biosphere reserve.
