Yolo County, California

Yolo County is located in the northern portion of California, established as one of the original counties in 1850. The county seat is Woodland, and it's part of the Sacramento metropolitan area. Its name originates from a Patwin Native American term, potentially meaning 'a place abounding in rushes'.
