About country

Bahrain is an island country in West Asia, situated near the western shore of the Persian Gulf. The nation is an archipelago of 33 natural islands and 50 artificial ones, with Bahrain Island comprising approximately 80% of its landmass. Historically, Bahrain was famed for its pearl fisheries, considered the best in the world until the 19th century. The ancient Dilmun civilization once thrived in the area, and Bahrain was among the first regions to embrace Islam during the lifetime of Muhammad. Today, Bahrain is a modern nation with a diversified economy, including finance, oil, and tourism.
