Bulawayo

Bulawayo is the second-largest city in Zimbabwe and serves as the primary hub for the Matabeleland region. Originally established as a royal kraal in the 19th century, it later became a significant industrial center under colonial administration. The city holds a unique status as one of the two cities in the country that also function as provinces.
