Kinkō, Kagoshima

Kinkō is a town in Kagoshima Prefecture, Japan, situated on the west coast of the Isumi Peninsula. Historically part of ancient Isumi Province, the area shows evidence of Jomon and Yayoi period settlements. It was once a landed estate ruled by the Neshin clan during the Heian period.
