Summary
Krouna is a municipality and village in Chrudim District, Pardubice Region of the Czech Republic. First documented in 1349, it lies on the border of the Iron Mountains and Upper Svratka Highlands. The 1995 train crash near Krouna killed 19 people, one of the deadliest Czech rail accidents.
