Summary
Kunimi is a town in Fukushima Prefecture, Japan, bordering Miyagi Prefecture. Historically part of Mutsu Province, it developed as a post station on the Ōshū Kaidō highway during the Edo period. The town hall was damaged in the 2011 Tōhoku earthquake.
