Kurashiki

Kurashiki is a city in Okayama Prefecture, Japan, situated where the Takahashi River meets the Seto Inland Sea. Historically part of Bitchū Province and the Kingdom of Kibi, the area shows evidence of settlement dating back over 20,000 years. During the Edo period, Kurashiki served as a port under the control of multiple feudal domains.
