Labastida is a town in the Rioja Alavesa region of the Basque Country, Spain, situated between the Ebro River and the Sierra de Toloño mountains. Historically, the area was settled by Berones in the 4th century BC and later saw a mix of Christian, Islamic, and Jewish communities. The town flourished in the 16th and 17th centuries, evidenced by numerous palaces and the Baroque church of Our Lady of the Assumption.
