Ladyzhyn is a city in Vinnytsia Oblast, Ukraine, situated on the Southern Bug river. Historically, the area was fortified by Prince Vladimir the Great against nomadic groups. The city faced destruction in 1676 after a Turkish siege led by Mehmed IV, avenging his son's capture.
