Oranjemund

Oranjemund is a diamond mining town located at the mouth of the Orange River in southwestern Namibia. Established in 1936, the settlement was long restricted to employees of the diamond industry before being opened to the public. It is situated within the Sperrgebiet, a historically restricted coastal zone.
