Summary

Pasym is a town in Szczytno County, Warmian‑Masurian Voivodeship, northern Poland, situated in the historic region of Masuria. First recorded as Heinrichswalde in 1381, it was renamed after Teutonic knight Heinrich Walpot von Passenheim and later became a Polish fief, then part of Prussia and Germany. After the 1920 plebiscite it remained German, but was transferred to Poland after World II.
