Summary
Pribiš is a village located in the Dolný Kubín District of the Žilina Region in northern Slovakia. First mentioned in 1567, it was granted to Nikolaus Pribis in 1675 for his service to Leopold I. The Pribis family lost ownership during the Hungarian Revolution of 1848–1849 after supporting Lajos Kossuth.
