Rifu

Rifu is a town situated in Miyagi Prefecture, Japan, bordering Sendai and Matsushima Bay. Historically part of Mutsu Province, it was settled during the Jōmon period and later integrated into the Yamato colonization area. The area experienced conflict between samurai clans before falling under the control of the Date clan during the Edo period.
