Sakegawa is a village located in Yamagata Prefecture, Japan, bordering the Dewa Mountains. Established in 1954 through the merger of Toyota and Toyosato villages, it historically belonged to ancient Dewa Province. The local economy relies on agriculture, particularly nameko mushroom production.
