Santa María la Real de Nieva is a municipality in Segovia, Castile and León, Spain, founded in 1395 by King Henry III. The town originated from the discovery of a wooden sculpture of Mary, leading to the construction of a sanctuary. Queen Blanche I of Navarre died and was buried in the town's church in 1441.
