Segura de León

Segura de León is a Spanish municipality located in the province of Badajoz, within the autonomous community of Extremadura. The town was granted a fuero by Paio Peres Correia in 1274, separating it from the encomienda of Montemolín. It historically formed part of territories conquered by the Knights of the Order of Santiago during the 13th century.
