Taichung

Taichung is a special municipality located in central Taiwan, serving as the core of the island's second-largest metropolitan area. The city was developed from indigenous settlements and later served as a provincial capital during the Qing dynasty. It is a major cultural hub housing the National Taiwan Museum of Fine Arts and the National Taichung Theater.
