Summary
Alwar State was a princely state in India ruled by the Naruka clan of the Kachhwaha Rajput dynasty. Following the partition of India in 1947, the ruler Tej Singh Prabhakar acceded the territory to the Dominion of India. It was historically significant as a post-Mughal principality.
